We are based in Solihull, West Midlands; but we are a fully mobile business and come to you! The core area we cover includes West Midlands, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.   

For larger bookings (typically a minimum of 50 guests) we can also travel to London, Cardiff, Sheffield and Manchester.

Your rum tasting experience includes:

A private, hosted rum tasting experience with The Little Gin & Rum Company
4 x artisan rums to sample
4 x premium mixers paired to each rum
Following the tasting sequence guests can choose their favourite rum to enjoy again as a double measure with paired mixer
A branded tasting glass to keep
The hosted experience lasts for approximately one hour, with your very own rum loving host!

How does it work?

Our rum tasting experience is fully mobile. That means we will bring the rum to you, in your home, office, hotel or hired venue.

We provide everything required for the tasting experience including ice, glassware and garnishes.

We will send you a full breakdown of what is included in your tasting package and the price per head prior to securing your booking so you know exactly what to expect from the experience.

How long does your rum tasting experience last for?

Our rum tasting experience will last for one hour…although we never rush out the door! We can also tweak the timings to suit your event brief and what is included in your package.

How do I book?

Please complete the contact form below or email bookings@littleginandrumco.com. We will reply with ALL the details you need to know about our tasting experience including package options, cost per person and how it works.

Once we have agreed on an available date and start time, we will send you a deposit invoice to secure your booking. We will send you the final balance invoice to be paid 30 days before your event.

Your deposit is fully refundable up to 90 days before your event, after this date we cannot offer a deposit refund but we may be able to transfer the booking for you if we have a minimum of 30 days notice and this is subject to availability.

What is your COVID policy?

If Government guidelines dictate that your event cannot go ahead we will transfer your booking to a future date, or if there is enough lead time, we can offer a virtual tasting experience alternative,

If members of your group cannot attend the experience because they are isolating we cannot offer a refund or option to transfer the booking to a future event.

When do I pay for my booking?

All bookings are invoiced ahead of your event. For any bookings over a month away we will issue a deposit invoice that will need to be paid to secure your booking and date. The balance payment will then be invoiced a month before your event and just needs to be paid at least 10 working days ahead of your event.

What is a suitable venue?

Your home or place of work, a hotel or any hired premises (subject to the owners permission.)

We are a fully mobile business which means we don’t have a venue or premises you can visit. We ALWAYS bring the rum to you!

Do you offer alternatives for non-drinkers?

Yes we do! We have a non-alcoholic spirit tasting for any non-drinkers in your group so they can feel included within the experience.

Can you include any food?

We can provide a selection of pre-packaged posh nibbles to munch on during the tasting experience for an additional cost per person.

What is the minimum/ maximum group size?

We require a minimum of 12 guests for a rum tasting experience.

We don’t like to set a maximum number and can chat through options on how the tasting format works best for larger groups, with your event brief in mind. We think the sweet spot is 25 for a really interactive session but have hosted fantastic tasting experiences for 100+ guests in one room…

How do I pay for my booking?

All our invoices contain bank details to enable you to make a bank transfer payment. This is free of charge and your invoice number should be used as the payment reference. If you would prefer to pay by debit or credit card just let us know and we can send a payment link to enable you to do so. For any business to business transactions (for example payment on a company credit card) there will be a 2.5% fee added to your invoice.
