The gin basil smash is a no-fuss, super simple, yet utterly delicious cocktail that you can make in minutes. Its a gorgeously fragrant modern classic that uses the peppery flavours of the basil to perfectly complement our Queen Cleo London Dry botanicals.
INGREDIENTS
- Queen Cleo London Dry 50ml
- 25ml Lemon juice
- 15ml sugar syrup
- Bunch basil leaves
METHOD
- Add the basil and lemon juice to a shaker and really muddle (smash!)
- Add the sugar syrup and ice to the shaker, shake and strain into ice filled rocks glass and garnish with basil leaf.
- If you prefer, you can double strain for no basil-bits with a fine cocktail strainer.
